Job Requirements
- Proof of age with ability to serve alcohol (minimum 18 years old, 21 in some states)
- Completion of basic food handling training and any local or state-mandated certification or permits
- Completion of Safe Alcohol Service training program
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
- Excellent guest service skills
- Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
- Strong interpersonal communication with all ages, genders, and personalities
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to take and follow directions
- Responds with a sense of urgency
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, and reaching throughout the theater
- Ability to work in noisy, moderate to high noise environments
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in food and beverage service is an advantage but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of basic cash handling and math skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Ability to take and follow direction
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Demonstrated responsible alcohol service knowledge or willingness to complete training
- Energetic and friendly attitude during shifts
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
- Accurately records food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
- Responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including cash balance, distributing correct tickets or inventory, properly logging off, and reporting concerns to management
- Verifies identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- Ensures that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
- Consistently wipes down and sanitizes employee and guest high-contact areas
- Properly utilizes personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
- Adapts to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
- Monitors safety and security issues such as trip hazards, lighting, and suspicious persons and reports to management
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned
