Job Requirements

  • Proof of age with minimum 18 years (21 in some states) for serving alcoholic beverages
  • Completion of basic food handling training and any local or state mandated certification or food handler's permit where required
  • Completion of Safe Alcohol Service training program
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • Energetic and friendly attitude during shifts
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to work in team environments and independently
  • Ability to take and follow directions
  • Respond with a sense of urgency
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Frequent standing, walking, and reaching in the theater environment
  • Tolerance of moderate to high noise levels
  • Ability to work in standing position for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with guests of all ages
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic math skills and accurate cash handling
  • Friendly and energetic attitude

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
  • Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
  • Accurately records food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
  • Responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance, ticket distribution, and reporting concerns to management
  • Verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
  • Ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
  • Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
  • Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure food orders are accurate
  • Consistently wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
  • Properly utilize personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
  • Adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
  • Monitor safety and security issues and report to management
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned
