Job Requirements
- Proof of age required with minimum age of 18 or 21 depending on state laws
- completion of basic food handling training and obtaining local or state mandated certification or food handler's permit where required
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- regular and consistent attendance
- energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
- ability to provide excellent guest service
- accurate cash handling skills
- physical ability to frequently bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to work in moderately noisy environment
- must be able to comprehend and converse in English regularly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in customer service or food and beverage roles is an asset
- ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse guests and team members
- basic math skills for accurate cash handling
- ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
- completion of safe alcohol service training program required for those handling alcoholic beverages
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
- accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
- responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and reporting any concerns
- verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- collaborate with kitchen team to ensure food orders are accurate
- consistently wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
- properly utilize personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
- adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
- monitor safety and security issues and report to management
- perform other work-related duties as assigned
