Job Requirements

  • Proof of age required with minimum age of 18 or 21 depending on state laws
  • completion of basic food handling training and obtaining local or state mandated certification or food handler's permit where required
  • availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • regular and consistent attendance
  • energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
  • ability to provide excellent guest service
  • accurate cash handling skills
  • physical ability to frequently bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to work in moderately noisy environment
  • must be able to comprehend and converse in English regularly

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in customer service or food and beverage roles is an asset
  • ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse guests and team members
  • basic math skills for accurate cash handling
  • ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
  • completion of safe alcohol service training program required for those handling alcoholic beverages

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
  • possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
  • accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
  • responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and reporting any concerns
  • verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
  • ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
  • consistently use suggestive selling techniques
  • collaborate with kitchen team to ensure food orders are accurate
  • consistently wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
  • properly utilize personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
  • adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
  • monitor safety and security issues and report to management
  • perform other work-related duties as assigned
