Job Requirements

Proof of age
Completion of basic food handling training and any state or local food handler certification if required
Completion of Safe Alcohol Service training program
Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Regular and consistent attendance
Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
Excellent guest service skills
Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
Effective verbal and written communication in English
Ability to work both independently and in a team
Ability to follow directions
Responds with a sense of urgency
Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
Frequent standing, walking, and reaching
Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods
Comfort working in environments with moderate to high noise levels

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in food and beverage service is advantageous but not required
Strong communication skills including verbal and written English proficiency
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Capability to follow directions accurately
Basic math skills and cash handling experience
Energetic and friendly attitude
Able to engage with guests of all ages and backgrounds
Must be at least 18 years of age (or 21 in certain states) to serve alcohol

Job Duties

Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
Accurately records food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
Responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance, ticket distribution, and reporting any concerns to a manager
Verifies identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
Ensures that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
Consistently wipes down and sanitizes employee and guest high-contact areas
Properly utilizes personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
Adapts to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
Monitors safety and security issues and reports to management
Performs other work-related duties as assigned
