Job Requirements
- Proof of age to serve alcoholic beverages (18 or 21 depending on state)
- Completion of basic food handling training and any required local certifications
- Completion of safe alcohol service training program
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
- Excellent guest service skills
- Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to follow directions
- Sense of urgency in operations
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a noisy environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in food service or customer service is an advantage
- Knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and energetic attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Willingness to cross-train in other theater positions
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
- Accurately records food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
- Responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and reporting concerns
- Verifies identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- Ensures that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
- Consistently wipes down and sanitizes employee and guest high-contact areas
- Properly utilizes personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
- Adapts to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
- Monitors safety and security issues and reports to management
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned
