Job Requirements

Proof of age with associates serving, pouring, or mixing alcoholic beverages needing to be 18 or 21 depending on state
completes basic food handling training and holds any required local or state certification or health card
must complete Safe Alcohol Service training program
availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
regular and consistent attendance
energetic and friendly attitude
excellent guest service skills
accurate cash handling and basic math skills
interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all ages and personalities
ability to work both independently and in a team
ability to take and follow direction
responds with urgency
frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
frequent standing, walking, and reaching
ability to work in standing position for extended periods
can tolerate moderate to high noise levels

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
experience in customer service or hospitality is beneficial
knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations
strong interpersonal and communication skills
ability to accurately handle cash and perform basic math
ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
proficiency in English for clear and effective communication
ability to take and follow direction

Job Duties

Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
accurately records food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance, ticket distribution, logging off, and reporting concerns
verifies identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
ensures that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
consistently use suggestive selling techniques
collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
consistently wipes down and sanitizes employee and guest high-contact areas
properly utilizes personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
adapts to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
monitors safety and security issues such as trip hazards and lighting and reports to management
performs other work-related duties as assigned
