Job Requirements
- Proof of age with minimum age 18 or 21 depending on state law
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- regular and consistent attendance
- ability to bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to work in a noisy environment
- must have a friendly and energetic attitude
- excellent guest service skills
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to handle cash accurately
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- completion of basic food handling training
- completion of safe alcohol service training
Job Qualifications
- Completion of basic food handling training and any local or state mandated certification or food handlers permit where required
- completion of a safe alcohol service training program
- excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations
- ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and independently
- friendly and energetic attitude
- ability to follow directions and respond with a sense of urgency
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
- accurately records food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
- responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and ticket distribution
- verifies identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- ensures that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
- consistently wipes down and sanitizes employee and guest high-contact areas
- properly utilizes personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
- adapts to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
- monitors safety and security issues and reports to management
- performs other work-related duties as assigned
