Job Requirements
- Proof of age with minimum 18 years and 21 years in some states
- completion of basic food handling training and any local or state mandated certification or health card as required
- completion of Safe Alcohol Service training program
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- regular and consistent attendance
- energetic and friendly attitude
- excellent guest service skills
- accurate cash handling and basic math skills
- interpersonal communication skills with all ages and personalities
- ability to work independently and in a team environment
- ability to take and follow directions
- physical ability to bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to work in a noisy environment
- English proficiency
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
- experience in customer service preferred but not required
- knowledge of food and beverage service principles is a plus
- ability to work as part of a team and independently
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to follow directions and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
- accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
- responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and logging off
- verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
- consistently wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
- properly utilize personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
- monitor safety and security issues and report to management
- perform other work-related duties as assigned
