Job Requirements
- Proof of age
- Completion of basic food handling training and obtain any required certifications
- Completion of safe alcohol service training program
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
- Provide excellent guest service
- Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills including English proficiency
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to respond with urgency
Job Qualifications
- Proof of age as required by state and local laws
- Completion of basic food handling training and any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handler’s permit
- Completion of safe alcohol service training program
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Basic math skills and accurate cash handling
- Ability to take and follow direction
- Ability to respond with a sense of urgency
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
- Accurately records food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
- Responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance, distributing correct tickets or inventory, logging off when away from register, and reporting concerns to a manager
- Verifies identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- Ensures that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
