Job Requirements

  • Proof of age
  • Completion of basic food handling training and obtain any required certifications
  • Completion of safe alcohol service training program
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
  • Provide excellent guest service
  • Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills including English proficiency
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Ability to respond with urgency

Job Qualifications

  • Proof of age as required by state and local laws
  • Completion of basic food handling training and any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handler’s permit
  • Completion of safe alcohol service training program
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Basic math skills and accurate cash handling
  • Ability to take and follow direction
  • Ability to respond with a sense of urgency

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
  • Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
  • Accurately records food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
  • Responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance, distributing correct tickets or inventory, logging off when away from register, and reporting concerns to a manager
  • Verifies identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
  • Ensures that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
  • Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
  • Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
