Job Requirements
- Proof of age
- completion of basic food handling training and any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required
- completion of safe alcohol service training program
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- regular and consistent attendance
- energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
- excellent guest service skills
- accurate cash handling and basic math skills
- ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively
- must be able to comprehend and speak English
- ability to work in a team environment and independently
- ability to take and follow directions
- physical ability to bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods
- ability to work in a moderate to high noise environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- basic math skills for cash handling
- strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse guests and team members
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- willingness to learn and cross-train in multiple roles
- completion of any required local or state food handling certifications or permits
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
- accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
- responsible for all transactions done on assigned register, including proper cash balance and correct ticket distribution
- verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
- wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas consistently
- properly utilize personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
- adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
- monitor safety and security issues and report to management
- perform other work-related duties as assigned
