Job Requirements

  • Proof of age
  • completion of basic food handling training and any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required
  • completion of safe alcohol service training program
  • availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • regular and consistent attendance
  • energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
  • excellent guest service skills
  • accurate cash handling and basic math skills
  • ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively
  • must be able to comprehend and speak English
  • ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • ability to take and follow directions
  • physical ability to bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods
  • ability to work in a moderate to high noise environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • basic math skills for cash handling
  • strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse guests and team members
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • willingness to learn and cross-train in multiple roles
  • completion of any required local or state food handling certifications or permits

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
  • possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
  • accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
  • responsible for all transactions done on assigned register, including proper cash balance and correct ticket distribution
  • verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
  • ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
  • consistently use suggestive selling techniques
  • collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
  • wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas consistently
  • properly utilize personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
  • adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
  • monitor safety and security issues and report to management
  • perform other work-related duties as assigned
