Job Requirements
- Proof of age to serve alcohol if applicable
- completion of basic food handling training and necessary health certifications
- completion of Safe Alcohol Service training program
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- regular and consistent attendance
- energetic and friendly attitude
- excellent guest service skills
- accurate cash handling and basic math skills
- ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
- ability to work in a team environment and independently
- ability to take and follow direction
- respond with a sense of urgency
- physical ability to frequently bend, kneel, lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods
- tolerance to moderate to high noise levels
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in customer service or food and beverage service is a plus
- knowledge of basic food handling and alcohol service regulations
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse guests
- dependable and detail-oriented
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- capability to learn and apply suggestive selling techniques
- willing to complete Safe Alcohol Service training program
- basic math skills for cash handling
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
- accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
- responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and ticket distribution
- verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for alcohol transactions
- ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- collaborate with kitchen team to ensure food orders are accurate
- consistently wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
- properly utilize personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
- adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
- monitor safety and security issues and report to management
- perform other work-related duties as assigned
