Job Qualifications
- Proof of age for serving alcoholic beverages
- Completion of basic food handling training and any local or state certification required
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to follow direction and maintain urgency during tasks
- Basic math skills and accurate cash handling
- Effective verbal and written communication in English
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
- Accurately records food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
- Responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and ticket distribution
- Verifies identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- Ensures that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
- Consistently wipes down and sanitizes employee and guest high-contact areas
- Properly utilizes personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
- Monitors safety and security issues and reports to management
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned
