Job Requirements
- Proof of age for alcohol service (must be 18 or 21 depending on state regulations)
- Completion of basic food handling training and any required local or state certifications
- Successful completion of Safe Alcohol Service training program
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Consistent and regular attendance
- Ability to provide excellent guest service
- Accurate cash handling and basic math proficiency
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to take and follow direction
- Physical ability to perform frequent bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, and reaching
- Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced theater environment for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service or food and beverage experience is a plus
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team
- Ability to follow directions accurately and respond with urgency
- Proven ability to maintain a friendly and energetic attitude during shifts
Job Duties
- Greet Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the Guest experience
- Accurately records food and beverage orders from Guests in a timely manner
- Responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and inventory management
- Verifies identification to confirm Guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- Ensures that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
- Consistently wipes down and sanitizes Employee and Guest high-contact areas
- Properly utilizes Personal Protective Equipment while completing position specific tasks
- Adapts to required cleaning tasks frequency and scope
- Monitors safety and security issues and reports to management
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned
