Job Requirements
- Proof of age
- Completion of basic food handling training and obtain any local or state mandated certification or health card where required
- Completion of safe alcohol service training program for team members working with alcohol
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
- Excellent guest service skills
- Accurate cash handling
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to take and follow directions
- Ability to respond with a sense of urgency
- Frequent bending kneeling and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing walking and reaching
- Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods
- Comfortable working in moderate to high noise levels
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Strong interpersonal skills including ability to communicate with all ages and personalities
- Basic math skills and accurate cash handling
- Ability to take and follow direction
- Friendly and energetic attitude
- Ability to respond with a sense of urgency
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
- Accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
- Responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and logging off
- Verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- Ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
- Consistently wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
- Properly utilize personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
- Adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
- Monitor safety and security issues and report to management
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
