Job Requirements
- Proof of age to serve alcohol as per state regulations
- completion of basic food handling training and any necessary local or state certifications
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- consistent and reliable attendance
- energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
- excellent guest service skills
- accurate cash handling and basic math skills
- strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- ability to follow directions promptly
- willingness to respond quickly in urgent situations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- prior experience in customer service or food and beverage is preferred but not required
- strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members
- basic math skills for cash handling
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- completion of Safe Alcohol Service training program
- knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
- accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
- responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance, ticket distribution, and logging off
- verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
- consistently wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
- properly utilize personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
- adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
- monitor safety and security issues and report to management
- perform other work-related duties as assigned
