Job Requirements

Proof of age to serve alcohol (18 or 21 depending on state)
Completion of local or state mandated food handler certification or health card
Availability to work flexible schedules including nights weekends and holidays
Regular and consistent attendance
Energetic and friendly attitude
Excellent guest service skills
Accurate cash handling
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Ability to comprehend and converse in English regularly
Ability to follow directions promptly
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed basic food handling training
Completed safe alcohol service training
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
Basic math and cash handling skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
Accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
Responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and reporting any concerns to a manager
Verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
Ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure food orders are accurate
Consistently wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
Properly utilize personal protective equipment
Monitor safety and security issues and report to management
Perform other work-related duties as assigned
