Job Requirements
- Proof of age for alcohol service where applicable
- Completion of basic food handling training and necessary certifications
- Completion of Safe Alcohol Service training program
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
- Excellent guest service skills
- Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to follow direction
- Physical capability to perform frequent bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing and walking for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service or food and beverage experience is an asset
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with guests of all ages and backgrounds
- Basic math skills and accurate cash handling experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Willingness to cross-train in other theater roles
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
- Accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
- Responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash handling and logging off correctly
- Verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- Ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- Use suggestive selling techniques consistently
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
- Wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas regularly
- Properly utilize personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
- Monitor safety and security issues and report to management
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
