Job Requirements
- Proof of age serving alcohol, 18 or 21 depending on state
- Completion of basic food handling training and obtaining required certifications or permits
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Energetic and friendly attitude during shifts
- Excellent guest service skills
- Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
- Ability to work within a team and independently
- Ability to follow directions and respond promptly
- Physical ability to bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a noisy environment
Job Qualifications
- Proof of age to serve alcohol in applicable states
- Completion of basic food handling training and any required local or state certification
- Must complete Safe Alcohol Service training program
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow directions and work with a sense of urgency
Job Duties
- Greet Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the Guest experience
- Accurately records food and beverage orders from Guests in a timely manner
- Responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and logging off
- Verifies identification to confirm Guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- Ensures that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
- Consistently wipes down and sanitizes Employee and Guest high-contact areas
- Properly utilizes Personal Protective Equipment while completing position specific tasks
- Adapts to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
- Monitors safety and security issues and reports to management
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned
