Job Requirements

  • Proof of age serving alcohol, 18 or 21 depending on state
  • Completion of basic food handling training and obtaining required certifications or permits
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • Energetic and friendly attitude during shifts
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
  • Ability to work within a team and independently
  • Ability to follow directions and respond promptly
  • Physical ability to bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in a noisy environment

Job Qualifications

  • Proof of age to serve alcohol in applicable states
  • Completion of basic food handling training and any required local or state certification
  • Must complete Safe Alcohol Service training program
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to follow directions and work with a sense of urgency

Job Duties

  • Greet Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
  • Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the Guest experience
  • Accurately records food and beverage orders from Guests in a timely manner
  • Responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and logging off
  • Verifies identification to confirm Guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
  • Ensures that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
  • Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
  • Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
  • Consistently wipes down and sanitizes Employee and Guest high-contact areas
  • Properly utilizes Personal Protective Equipment while completing position specific tasks
  • Adapts to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
  • Monitors safety and security issues and reports to management
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned
