Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
  • Safe Server Alcohol and Food Handlers certification required
  • High school or equivalent education required
  • One to three years of food service experience preferred
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures
  • Must be able to stand and move for up to four hours
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds
  • Must be able to push and pull carts weighing up to 250 pounds
  • Ability to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used at the workplace
  • Good communication skills
  • Detail oriented with organizational skills
  • Must possess basic computer skills and computational ability
  • Ability to deal with customers with patience, tact, and diplomacy
  • Must comply with grooming and uniform standards
  • Regular attendance required
  • Must follow safety and security policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three years food service experience preferred
  • Micros POS experience preferred
  • Safe Server Alcohol and Food Handlers certification
  • Excellent leadership capability and customer relations skills
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Basic computer skills and computational ability
  • Knowledgeable about Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, and POS
  • Self-driven and able to work independently
  • Knowledge of table and bar service
  • Knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and flavor profiles

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests in a welcoming and friendly manner
  • Take guest food and beverage orders
  • Describe menu items, ingredients, and methods of preparation
  • Suggest menu products to customers
  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests and servers
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed
  • Verify customer identification and confirm legal drinking age
  • Ensure minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages
  • Perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties according to station rotation
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Provide opening and closing inventory of spirits
  • Ensure all liquor, beer, and wine products are put away safely and securely
  • Assist with recipe batching, ice molding, liquor infusions, washing and preparing garnishes
  • Ensure taps, coolers, and appliances are clean and operational
  • Maintain cleanliness of restaurant area including waste disposal and glassware cleaning
  • Participate in deep cleaning of the outlet
  • Operate cash register/POS, receive payment, and provide correct change
  • Assist all guests professionally and courteously with high-quality customer service
  • Perform all other duties assigned by manager or supervisor
