Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
- Safe Server Alcohol and Food Handlers certification required
- High school or equivalent education required
- One to three years of food service experience preferred
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures
- Must be able to stand and move for up to four hours
- Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds
- Must be able to push and pull carts weighing up to 250 pounds
- Ability to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used at the workplace
- Good communication skills
- Detail oriented with organizational skills
- Must possess basic computer skills and computational ability
- Ability to deal with customers with patience, tact, and diplomacy
- Must comply with grooming and uniform standards
- Regular attendance required
- Must follow safety and security policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three years food service experience preferred
- Micros POS experience preferred
- Safe Server Alcohol and Food Handlers certification
- Excellent leadership capability and customer relations skills
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic computer skills and computational ability
- Knowledgeable about Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, and POS
- Self-driven and able to work independently
- Knowledge of table and bar service
- Knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and flavor profiles
Job Duties
- Greet all guests in a welcoming and friendly manner
- Take guest food and beverage orders
- Describe menu items, ingredients, and methods of preparation
- Suggest menu products to customers
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests and servers
- Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed
- Verify customer identification and confirm legal drinking age
- Ensure minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages
- Perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties according to station rotation
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Provide opening and closing inventory of spirits
- Ensure all liquor, beer, and wine products are put away safely and securely
- Assist with recipe batching, ice molding, liquor infusions, washing and preparing garnishes
- Ensure taps, coolers, and appliances are clean and operational
- Maintain cleanliness of restaurant area including waste disposal and glassware cleaning
- Participate in deep cleaning of the outlet
- Operate cash register/POS, receive payment, and provide correct change
- Assist all guests professionally and courteously with high-quality customer service
- Perform all other duties assigned by manager or supervisor
