Job Duties

  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • Provide prompt and efficient customer service
  • Display knowledge of the food and beverage menu
  • Take guests food and/or drink orders and communicate them to kitchen and bar
  • Serve beverages and prepared meals to guests accurately and timely
  • Adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests
  • Check back to ensure guest satisfaction
  • replenish items as necessary and/or requested
  • Suggest and serve dessert, coffee and other items as applicable
  • Handle all cash and/or credit cards for payment following standard operating procedures
  • Keep tables, dining room and work stations sanitized and organized
  • Listen and respond to customer complaints
  • Perform clean-up and closing procedures as assigned by manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
