Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous food server experience preferred
  • ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • complete open availability as required by union
  • ability to follow federal, state, and local alcohol service regulations
  • customer-focused mindset
  • ability to work under varying schedules and hours
  • excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience as a food server in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of food and beverage service standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to maintain professionalism and a positive attitude
  • familiarity with point-of-sale systems

Job Duties

  • Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials
  • take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
  • retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
  • ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
  • serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations
  • ensure serving station is well-stocked at all times
