- prior experience in food and beverage service or hospitality preferred
- strong verbal communication skills

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
- advise guests on food and drink combinations and accommodate reasonable requests
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and special requests accommodations
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and work well with others
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues and report to supervisor
- ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service, maintaining sanitation standards
- operate a variety of equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- work with staff from other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
