Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or senior living
  • Food Safety Certification within 90 days of employment
  • Ability to work both Saturday and Sunday
  • Must be available for shifts 3:30 PM - 8 PM or 11:30 AM - 7:30 PM
  • CPR and First Aid certification as required
  • ServeSafe certification
  • Ability to pass drug test and physical evaluations
  • Compliance with Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination mandates as applicable
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Effective communication skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness to participate in training and team meetings

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide support in day-to-day dining room operations while maintaining a high quality, positive, and safe environment
  • Provide dining service training to new care managers
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items and assist residents with selections
  • Take and serve meal and beverage orders according to guidelines
  • Attend pre-meal briefings and follow food handling policies
  • Perform dining room checklist inspections for cleanliness and readiness
  • Maintain assigned tables and surrounding areas
  • Perform dining room set-up and re-set tables
  • Support dining room decorum and etiquette standards
  • Complete opening and closing checklist criteria
  • Assist in tabletop inventories maintenance
  • Review and document pertinent resident information
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident information
  • Practice safe food handling to prevent food borne illnesses
  • Complete cleaning assignments and maintain safe work areas
  • Assist in organizing dining room supplies and flow
  • Adhere to occupational health and safety requirements
  • Use personal protective equipment and safety protocols
  • Participate as an active team member and support team goals
  • Attend meetings and maintain compliance with required training
  • Perform other duties as assigned
