Minimum one year of customer service experience, preferably in upscale food and beverage environment

Job Duties

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments
quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting
promptly and consistently reset all service ware as instructed
transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning
sweep floors between guests and service accordingly
clean up spills and debris off the floor during and between service
discard trash to appropriate location
maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
ensure plate presentation as per standards
expedite food orders when necessary
engage and genuinely interact with guests while anticipating their needs
explain food and beverage items in detail to guests
follow all hotel, LQA, and Forbes 5 Stars standards while conducting self-audits to ensure 100% compliance on all interactions
act as point of contact between Front of the House and Heart of the House including stewarding
support and assist servers, bartenders, chefs, and managers
control costs and waste
maintain order on pick up side of line
maintain cleanliness and organization of line
be proactive by assisting co-workers
serve courses correctly
be familiar with all menu items and property services
clear excess dishes on table to maintain clean and orderly appearance
exceed guest's expectations
perform other duties as assigned
