Job Requirements

  • At least 6 months of food service experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 lbs
  • US work authorization is required

Job Duties

  • Promptly clear, clean and set-up tables, chairs, linens, china, glass, and silverware for service in a discreet manner
  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
  • Assist in stocking linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service
  • assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages
  • Breakdown, clean and set-up side stations and back of house areas
