  • Flexible schedule, including availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays required

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome members and guests with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Escort guests to their tables, presenting appropriate menus based on the dining area
  • Maintain and manage the reservation system throughout service, accommodating walk-ins and special requests
  • Communicate with serving staff and managers regarding table availability, large parties, and special requests to ensure seamless service
  • Answer phone calls, confirm reservations, and provide accurate information about dining options and club events
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and entry areas
  • Ensure dining areas are clean, properly set, and ready for service
  • Assist with water and beverage refills, bread service, or other items as needed
  • Clear, reset, and sanitize tables efficiently between courses and after guest departure, ensuring cleanliness throughout service
  • Assist with polishing and restocking silverware, glassware, and dishware as needed
  • Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests' tables quickly and accurately, based on dining outlet table and seat numbers
  • Verify that orders are accurate, complete, and properly prepared, with safe handling (e.g., proper temperature)
  • Ensure proper placement of dishes, announcing items, special orders, and allergy considerations where appropriate
  • Assist servers by restocking and organizing mise en place, including ramekins, condiments, and utensils
  • Communicate with kitchen and service staff to coordinate food flow efficiently
  • Maintain knowledge of all menu items and preparation methods
  • Complete daily checklists to ensure all pre-shift and post-shift duties are fulfilled and the operation is set and ready for service
  • Ensure workspaces are clean, organized, and fully stocked
  • Collaborate closely with servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management to provide a seamless dining experience
  • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and minor concerns with attentiveness and care

  • Uphold cleanliness and safety standards throughout all service areas
  • Attend training sessions and staff meetings, including pre-shift (line-up) briefings, as required
  • Take direction and adapt to the evolving needs of the dining room
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
