Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period or for an entire shift
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Interior of restaurant kitchen and designated bar area, with occasional travel around the property as needed
- Exposure to a kitchen environment with high temperatures
- Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions
- Exposure to food and beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals
- Exposure to food items and beverages
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year food runner experience or DRA experience
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Must consistently demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, be teamwork-oriented, and exhibit a positive attitude
- Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance
- Must have and maintain current, ServSafe or equivalent training
Job Duties
- Must have complete knowledge of service times and menu
- Must have complete knowledge of floor plan, table numbers, and seat numbers
- Supports new Omni Safe and Clean protocols throughout the outlet to support Omni's Covid-19 related sanitation protocols
- Deliver food to correct tables according to ticket, floor plan, and seat numbers
- Always inquire if additional service is needed from guests upon delivery and inform server or manager
- Responsible for set-up of assigned stations with specified items
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Must consult with supervisor on any food delivery difficulty
- Must always minimize breakage
- Assist with Bar Back duties as needed
- removal of dishware, and stocking the bar stations to par
- Maintenance and replenishment of dining room items
- ensure items are always full, clean and presentable
- Securing all dining room items such as platters, butter dishes, bread knives as directed by manager or posted side work
- Ensuring all products are within date and using the FIFO method of storage
- Attend all department meetings and other required company trainings
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management
