Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1 - 2 years prior bussing or food runner experience preferred
- must be 21 years of age
- ability to read write and understand English
- ability to communicate effectively and maintain working relationships
- obtain Food Handlers certificate from County Health Department
- pass background check
- ability to work flexible shifts including nights weekends holidays and overtime
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
- ability to lift and carry 50 lbs repeatedly
- professional appearance and demeanor
- capability to handle intoxicated guests professionally
- compliance with all safety and standard operating procedures
Job Qualifications

- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Job Duties
- demonstrate pride attention to detail and knowledge in all aspects of restaurant including menu items food preparation service standards and bar concept
- supply dining room and tables with clean china silver glassware utensils condiments and paper supplies
- ensure all tables are set completely before and after shift
- remove dirty dishes soiled linen glassware and silver from tables and counter tops
- maintain tables throughout service clearing dishes between courses and empty glassware
- reset tables and perform related duties as requested by management or servers
- keep all areas clean and free of debris
- polish glassware and service items as necessary
- assist food servers with complimentary bottled water and bread service
- monitor tables closely and attend to guests' needs
- clear and scrape dishes in side stations after clearing tables
- serve non-alcoholic beverages and refill as needed
- change tablecloth and reset tables promptly after guests leave
- serve coffee hot tea and other non-alcoholic beverages
- refresh flatware after each course or upon guest request
- move tables to accommodate reservations and prepare sections and side stations
- assist in serving food timely
- ensure food orders are correct before serving guests
- carry one plate per hand without tray
- complete station side work and stock service stations
- maintain professional demeanor assisting servers and captains
- provide prompt courteous food and beverage service to casino guests
- possess keen sense of timing to adjust service speed
- acknowledge customers promptly with a smile
- serve meals and beverages and return for additional service
- prepare silverware neatly and clean area after preparation
- run food on rotation and serve primarily as food runner when needed
- maintain appropriate grooming and uniform
- ensure work station appearance meets health and service standards
- prepare side-work supplies and stock for shifts
- follow all safety and standard operating procedures
- perform other duties as assigned
- work flexible schedule including nights weekends holidays and overtime
