Job Qualifications
- Must have previous restaurant experience
- TiPS certification required within 90 days of employment
- knowledge of Marriott Global Source (MGS) is preferred
Job Duties
- Restaurant service includes counter service, food running, table service, and deliveries
- maintain daily set up and/or breakdown of the restaurant by following daily checklists
- know each menu item and its ingredients, know what happy hour and other specials are
- be aware of events in the area and give suggestions to guests
- follow and maintain Health Department specs including daily temp logs and product rotation
- strive to exceed guest satisfaction and provide top quality service
- understand all facets of job responsibilities and complete tasks efficiently
- complete daily cleaning duties and side work tasks with pride
- report to work on time and follow attendance policy
- participate in department meetings and communicate openly
- display positive attitude and work well with others
- take pride in appearance and wear proper uniform
- show urgency and resolve guest or departmental issues independently
- utilize time productively while meeting standards
- look for ways to reduce waste and control expenses
- keep work area clean, pick up trash in public and back areas, recycle appropriately
- follow AHC safety standards
- attend TIPS training and properly card guests
- pour wine, beer, or mix drinks as needed when bartender is absent
