Job Qualifications
- Must have previous restaurant experience
- TiPS Certification required within 90 days of employment
- knowledge of Marriott Global Source (MGS) preferred
Job Duties
- Provide counter service, food running, table service, and deliveries
- maintain daily setup and breakdown of the restaurant following checklists
- know each menu item and its ingredients along with specials
- be aware of local events and suggest options to guests
- follow and maintain health department specifications including temp logs and product rotation
- strive to exceed guest satisfaction and provide best possible service
- complete daily cleaning duties and side work tasks
- report to work on time and adhere to attendance policies
- participate in department meetings and communicate openly with management and staff
- display positive, courteous, and professional attitude
- take pride in appearance and wear proper uniform
- demonstrate urgency and ability to resolve guest concerns
- utilize time productively while meeting department standards
- seek ways to save money by reducing waste and controlling expenses
- keep work area clean and follow recycling and safety standards
- attend TIPS training and card guests when appropriate
- pour wine, beer, or make mixed drinks when bartender is absent
