Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- TIPS certification required or ability to obtain within 30 days
- current Food Handlers card required
- excellent communication skills in English

Job Qualifications

- must be TIPS certified or become certified within 30 days of hire

Job Duties
- Clear and reset tables using a tray service
- prep for service
- take used plates, utensils and drinkware to the dishwasher area
- pay attention to detail
- responsible for problem solving and special requests
- provide highest quality of service to customers
- arrange dining room to cater to the number of guests
- work as a team in a fast-paced five-star environment
- set up dining room area according to Orchid Room restaurant standards
- consistently keep the restaurant organized and clean
- set up trash cans, soda, plates, utensils, and to-go containers at start of shift
- maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day
- set up heat lamps or umbrellas per guest request
- complete closing duties including restocking items and turning off lights
- ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- speak clearly and professionally
- ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
- set tables according to service standards
- welcome and acknowledge guests according to company and FORBES standards
- run food and bus tables
- anticipate and address guests' service needs
- develop and maintain positive working relationships with team
- move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 20 pounds without assistance
- perform other reasonable job duties as requested by servers and supervisors
