Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • TIPS certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
  • Current food handlers card
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to multitask efficiently

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Clear and reset tables using a tray service
  • Prep for service
  • Take used plates, utensils and drinkware to the dishwasher area
  • Pay attention to detail
  • Responsible for problem solving and special requests
  • Provide highest quality of service to customers
  • Arrange dining room to cater to number of guests
  • Work as a team in a fast paced five star rated environment
  • Set up dining room area according to restaurant standards
  • Keep the restaurant organized and clean
  • Set up trash cans, soda, plates, utensils, and to-go containers at start of shift
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc. throughout the day
  • Complete closing duties including restocking items and turning off lights
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
  • Set tables according to service standards
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company and FORBES standards
  • Run food and buss tables
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team to reach common goals
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by servers and supervisors
