Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
TIPS certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
Current food handlers card
Strong communication skills in English
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to multitask efficiently
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED recommended
Must be TIPS certified or become certified within 30 days of hire
Must have a current food handlers card
Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational individual
Must be able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English
Ability to implement and uphold service standards
Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments
Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the resort
Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
Must be able to multitask
A people person who is flexible with their schedule and loves to serve others

Job Duties

Clear and reset tables using a tray service
Prep for service
Take used plates, utensils and drinkware to the dishwasher area
Pay attention to detail
Responsible for problem solving and special requests
Provide highest quality of service to customers
Arrange dining room to cater to number of guests
Work as a team in a fast paced five star rated environment
Set up dining room area according to restaurant standards
Keep the restaurant organized and clean
Set up trash cans, soda, plates, utensils, and to-go containers at start of shift
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc. throughout the day
Complete closing duties including restocking items and turning off lights
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
Set tables according to service standards
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company and FORBES standards
Run food and buss tables
Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team to reach common goals
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by servers and supervisors
