Job Duties
- understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner
- work as a team with server in performing routine support services in the restaurant including setting up dining room
- clearing and resetting tables between courses and after meals
- providing guests with water, butter, and appetizers
- and serving all food and beverages as requested by the server
- provide prompt, efficient, and gracious customer service to guests including taking and properly delivering food and beverage orders
- open, close, and present guest checks
- follow all specified procedures to correctly handle all credit card and gift card transactions
- ensure an adequate supply of clean, presentable linens, silverware, and all other accessories are prepared for meal service and available at the bus station
- understand all menu items and wine list to assist guests as needed
- perform all opening and closing duties as directed
- follow all policies and procedures of the food and beverage department and Temecula Creek Inn
- immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions
- maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times
- practice safe work habits to avoid injury
- comply with company and departmental safety rules including proper handling of equipment
- attend all mandatory meetings as directed
- perform other tasks including cross-training as directed
