Job Duties
- Perform outlet opening duties such as setting tables and chairs
- assist restaurant servers to serve guests
- prepare all beverages required for service including coffee, iced tea and hot water
- utilize essential hospitality standards such as greeting guests with a smile, making eye contact, and engaging in polite conversation
- greet guests after they are seated
- pour water and refill water, coffee and tea cups
- pick up food from kitchen and bring to side stations
- assist servers by serving food and beverages to guests during busy periods
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area including all tables and chairs
- reset tables with fresh linens and set according to the meal period
- restock the dining room and side stations with tableware, flatware, utensils, condiments and linen
- maintain adequate supplies in side stations when the restaurant is open
- clean side stations and replenish supplies
- empty and clean food preparation carts
- clean coffee urn and bread warmer
- collect fresh linens and deliver them to the restaurant, room service or banquet room
- return soiled linens to laundry
- demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to a changing clientele and environment
- conduct all responsibilities in a professional and ethical manner
- maintain consistent, regular attendance record
- perform other duties as assigned by supervisor, manager or department director
