Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One plus years of experience as a barback in high volume, upscale hotel or lounge environments
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively
- Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Certifications such as Certified Food Service Manager or TIPS or equivalent
- Ability to speak, read and write the English language
- Attend all required training sessions and meetings

Job Duties
- Provide support to bartenders and beverage servers by stocking all service areas and maintaining adequate supplies through the shift
- Clean and stock all glassware
- Assist with service of beverages
- Transport food trays to and from dining room
- Assist with cleaning public areas
- Participate in monthly inventory
- Stock and maintain supplies in all service areas
- Inspect and prepare all service ware prior to use
- Assist servers by removing soiled glasses and plates during heavy volume
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitary condition of lounge and service areas
- Assist in completion of post-shift cleanup and side work duties
- Maintain clean and organized storage spaces
- Attend all training sessions and meetings
- Work varying schedules to reflect business needs
- Promote teamwork skills at all times
- Notify appropriate individuals promptly of any problems or unusual matters
- Greet guests politely and professionally according to hotel standards
- Determine guests needs and suggestively up-sell beverages
- Record guest orders accurately
- Monitor guest consumption to prevent overindulgence
- Inventory beverages and operating supplies and order replacements as needed
- Perform all closing duties, secure all inventory and supplies
- Remain current with hotel information and comply with uniform and grooming standards
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by supervisors
