Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years of age
- must be able to read and communicate in English
- must be skilled in effectively communicating with guests
- knowledge of food and drink preparation is a plus
- ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- ability to maintain cooperative and harmonious working relationships
- ability to follow alcohol awareness procedures
- experience in a customer service role is preferred but not required
Job Duties
- deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
- keep immediate supervisor informed of all problems or unusual matters
- create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- adhere to company’s sanitation procedures
- follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
- assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a manager
- ensure food is properly garnished and deliver trays to designated tables
- follow all tray procedures to minimize loss and ensure food is delivered timely and correctly
- ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after delivery of food and responding to guest needs in a timely manner
- offer assistance to guests by clearing away dishes and refilling beverages
- restock and prepare supplies for shift change or close
- support server with greeting newly seated guests in a friendly and timely manner
- maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and answer questions regarding food and drink
- work quickly and efficiently adhering to “full hands in, full hands out” philosophy
- assist other team members as needed
- keep station clean, set up and take down station tables appropriately
- buss and reset tables as needed
- assist in party set up and breakdown
- maintain a favorable working relationship with all other team members
- effectively communicate with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster’s experience
- read and communicate in English
- listen to hear guests’ orders and needs and communicate verbally and with team members
- dress in proper dress code, looking neat, clean and professional at all times
- be at least 18 years of age
