Job Requirements
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
- Prior hospitality experience preferred
- Needs to be flexible, self-motivated, and positive and have a professional attitude towards guests, co-workers, and management
- Must also be able to perform all related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Qualifications
- Complete knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware
- Basic knowledge of all menus and wine list
- Work efficiently as a team member
- Knowledge of restaurant layout
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language sufficient to understand menus, special promotions, communicate with guests to explain and record orders
Job Duties
- Prepare any necessary setup to perform the job properly
- Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare the table for resetting
- Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments
- Serve guests with beverages, bread and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary
- Transport all dirty tableware from the dining room to the dishwashing area for proper cleaning
- Keep the workstation clean
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard restaurant cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards
