Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or food service
- Ability to work flexible schedules including late nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
- Successful completion of background check for pouring permit
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, food service, or other related fields
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must enjoy an ever evolving and learning environment
- Guest focus mentality
- Previous experience as a host/hostess, busser, server assistant, and/or food runner
- Possess standard beer, wine, liquor knowledge
- Ability to obtain pouring permit, including passing background check and fingerprinting
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
- Must possess basic computational ability
- Must possess basic computer skills
- Must be able to taste food and beverage offerings to understand flavor profiles and support preparation
- Knowledge of federal, state and local laws regarding alcohol service
Job Duties
- Meets with all managers and chef de cuisine to receive updates on food and beverage features and station assignments
- Prepares and sets assigned sections including booths, community tables, tables and the patio for guests prior to the shift
- Runs food from expo to guests
- Communicates with team members and managers regarding availability of tables, seating of large parties, or special requests
- Removes plates from tables using team clearing standards seamlessly and unobtrusively
