Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or food service
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including late nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
  • Successful completion of background check for pouring permit
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, food service, or other related fields
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must enjoy an ever evolving and learning environment
  • Guest focus mentality
  • Previous experience as a host/hostess, busser, server assistant, and/or food runner
  • Possess standard beer, wine, liquor knowledge
  • Ability to obtain pouring permit, including passing background check and fingerprinting
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
  • Must possess basic computational ability
  • Must possess basic computer skills
  • Must be able to taste food and beverage offerings to understand flavor profiles and support preparation
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local laws regarding alcohol service

Job Duties

  • Meets with all managers and chef de cuisine to receive updates on food and beverage features and station assignments
  • Prepares and sets assigned sections including booths, community tables, tables and the patio for guests prior to the shift
  • Runs food from expo to guests
  • Communicates with team members and managers regarding availability of tables, seating of large parties, or special requests
  • Removes plates from tables using team clearing standards seamlessly and unobtrusively
