- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a related food service position
- ability to serve three to four tables
- complete knowledge of food and beverage preparation
- ability to sell alcohol and food items
- ability to use a computer for order processing
- ability to interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- ability to accept different types of payments and make change
- maintain cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
- ability to clear and reset tables
- ability to check guest identification
- observe guest behavior and intervene when necessary
- maintain professional appearance and hygiene
- ability to stand and move for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a related food service position
- knowledge of food and beverage preparation
- familiarity with point of sale systems
- strong customer service skills
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Serve three to four tables as determined by management
- have complete knowledge of restaurant's food and beverage preparation
- ability to sell alcohol and food items
- use a computer to ring orders on a check
- interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner
- accept different types of payment and make change
- maintain specific side-work and ensure cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
- clear and reset tables
- check identification of guests to ensure legal age for alcohol consumption
- observe guests' behavior and offer a taxi if necessary
- treat all guests to ensure complete satisfaction
- report to work in a neat and clean uniform
