Job Requirements
- No experience necessary
- food safety training required to obtain and/or hold local, state, or county food handling and sanitation licenses or certificates
- ability to communicate clearly in English
- basic computer skills
- ability to make independent decisions
- problem-solving skills
- maintain positive and friendly demeanor
- great people skills and energetic personality
Job Qualifications
- No experience necessary, although previous food service experience is preferred
- food safety training to obtain and/or hold any required local, state, and/or county food handling or sanitation licenses or certificates
- ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
- basic computer skills needed for POS system and payroll system
- ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations with limited standardization
- maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers
- great people skills, energetic and great personality
Job Duties
- Prepare tables, present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service
- remain knowledgeable about posted daily specials
- write food orders and relay orders to kitchen
- serve courses from kitchen and service bars
- clear and reset counters or tables at conclusion of each course
- understand sanitation cleaning system used in the dining room and follow through with full completion of duties and cleaning tasks
- assist in keeping dining tables and chairs, floors, linens and serving stations clean, bussed and stocked
- maintain required food handler's certifications
