Job Requirements
- Regular lifting, moving and carrying of food items, furniture, garbage etc. weighing up to 30 pounds across the restaurant
- Regular and prolonged standing and walking inside and outside the restaurant during a 6-8 hour shift with appropriate breaks
- Regular ascending/descending stairs
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Frequent use of hand to finger motions, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a server in a full-service restaurant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and dietary accommodations
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and quality
- Monitor tables to anticipate guests' needs, refilling beverages, and addressing any issues promptly
- Process payments, handle cash, and operate a point-of-sale system with accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including resetting tables for the next guests
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service and exceptional guest experiences
