Job Requirements

  • Regular lifting, moving and carrying of food items, furniture, garbage etc. weighing up to 30 pounds across the restaurant
  • Regular and prolonged standing and walking inside and outside the restaurant during a 6-8 hour shift with appropriate breaks
  • Regular ascending/descending stairs
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
  • Frequent use of hand to finger motions, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a server in a full-service restaurant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and dietary accommodations
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen and bar staff
  • Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and quality
  • Monitor tables to anticipate guests' needs, refilling beverages, and addressing any issues promptly
  • Process payments, handle cash, and operate a point-of-sale system with accuracy
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including resetting tables for the next guests
  • Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service and exceptional guest experiences
