The Server position at Mexico Ceaty is an essential customer-facing role that demands enthusiasm, knowledge, and a strong commitment to the guest experience. Servers are the frontline ambassadors who not only take orders but also guide diners through every step of their meal. From understanding and explaining the menu, including ingredients, allergens, and specials, to managing complex requests and resolving issues with grace, servers must embrace a proactive, solution-oriented attitude. They synchronize closely with kitchen staff, expo stations, and teammates to ensure seamless communication and flawless service.
This role requires accountability—carrying not just trays but the full responsibility of crafting a superior dining encounter. Servers will be adept at navigating the Toast Point of Sale system for accurate payment processing and maintaining a pristine, guest-ready environment in their assigned sections. Team collaboration is key, working alongside bussers, runners, and hosts to deliver efficient and hospitable service. The ideal candidates will demonstrate what the company calls GWC: Get it, Want it, and Capacity to do it, showing an eagerness and capability to excel in fast-paced settings while embodying the restaurant's values.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a server or customer service role preferred
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Toast POS
- Team player with a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Welcome every guest as if they chose you specifically tonight
- Know the menu inside and out including ingredients, allergens, chef's specials
- Guide guests through their full dining experience from drinks, appetizers, entrees, dessert to check
- Communicate clearly with kitchen, expo station, and support team
- Handle modifications, special requests, and complaints with grace and ownership
- Process payments accurately through Toast POS
- Keep your section clean, stocked, and guest-ready at all times
- Collaborate with bussers, runners, and hosts as one unified team
