The Server role at Red Lobster is essential in delivering an outstanding dining experience to guests. Servers are the face of the restaurant, tasked with welcoming guests warmly, taking accurate orders, and suggesting complementary items such as drinks, appetizers, and desserts. This position requires delivering food and drink orders efficiently, maintaining attentive service by checking back with guests for refills, and managing the timely payment process, ensuring guests leave satisfied and eager to return. Adhering to strict food safety standards is a must, and the ability to work cohesively with the team while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced dining environment is crucial. Physical stamina is needed as servers often stand and move throughout their shifts, which can last between 8 to 12 hours. Job Requirements

  • Must meet the minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the country you are applying
  • ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 30 pounds safely
  • ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 to 12 hour shift
  • team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service or food service roles preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team
  • basic math skills for handling payments and giving correct change
  • capability to multi-task and remain attentive in a fast-paced environment
  • willingness to learn menu items and upsell relevant dishes and drinks

Job Duties

  • Welcoming guests and greeting every guest with a smile when they are seated
  • suggestively selling drinks, appetizers, and desserts
  • accurately taking food and drink orders and entering orders into the POS system properly
  • picking up and delivering food orders in a timely manner
  • checking back with guests throughout the experience to provide refills as needed and clearing any items from the table
  • delivering and settling the check in a timely manner, thanking guests and inviting them to return
  • following all food safety standards
