Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to work days, nights and weekends as required
- ability to work in noisy, fast paced environment
- able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- ability to stand and walk for entire shift
- ability to bend, stoop and reach frequently
- must read and write basic English
- comply with company dress code
- demonstrate cash handling skills and accurate financial transaction management
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- proficiency in cash handling and POS systems
- strong customer service orientation
- teamwork skills
- reliable and punctual
- ability to multitask
- basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled Guest experience through food, drinks and games in a fun environment
- keep immediate supervisor informed of problems and take corrective action
- create a warm, fun atmosphere for Guests and Team Members
- adhere to company sanitation procedures
- manage personal bank and financial transactions accurately
- follow alcohol awareness procedures
- assess Guest demeanor and report concerns to Manager
- greet Guests promptly and take food and drink orders accurately
- maintain thorough knowledge of menu items
- enter orders into Micros system correctly
- ensure proper food garnishing and timely delivery to designated tables
- work efficiently following full hands in, full hands out philosophy
- assist in party setup and breakdown
- bus and reset tables as needed
- support other team members as required
- manage sales on personal Micros keys and complete station work
- participate in sales incentives and contests
- follow portion guidelines for cost control
- ensure ongoing Guest satisfaction by checking back on food and drinks
- keep station clean and orderly
- maintain positive working relationships with team
- communicate effectively to generate enthusiasm about Dave & Buster’s experience
- operate Micros system and handle credit card transactions accurately
- communicate in English
- follow dress code
- be at least 18 years old
