Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality or food and beverage service preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong team collaboration skills
  • Positive and engaging personality

Job Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service principles preferred
  • Ability to memorize and accurately describe menu items
  • Experience in operating point-of-sale systems
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude
  • Previous serving experience is an advantage
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Provide members and guests with an exceptional dining experience that exceeds expectations in a professional yet welcoming atmosphere
  • Act as a liaison between members and kitchen staff to ensure efficient execution of service from welcome to farewell
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all food and beverage menus including beer, wine, and spirits, and describe items from memory
  • Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and quickly to enter orders and ensure correct delivery to table positions
  • Perform pre- and post-shift responsibilities including setup and cleaning of dining areas and completion of sidework tasks
  • Adapt service to meet the individual needs of each table while maintaining consistency
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and management to uphold service standards
