Job Requirements
- Current Illinois food handler's and BASSETT certifications or willingness to obtain within seven days of hire
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends, and late shifts
Job Qualifications
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle difficult situations with poise
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Possess or be willing to obtain relevant food handling and BASSET certifications within seven days of hire
- Have basic math and computer skills
- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends, and late hours
Job Duties
- Greet members and guests warmly and guide them to their tables
- Present menus and provide detailed information about offerings when asked
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them efficiently to kitchen and bar staff
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and ensure orders are accurate
- Engage with members and guests, respond to their requests, and ensure satisfaction with their dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned sections and service areas
- Process payments and handle transactions accurately and securely
- Collaborate with team members and kitchen staff to ensure unison in service delivery
- Uphold the Club's standards of quality and service expectations
