Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to wipe down tabletops, table legs, and booth seats
- Transports plates, glasses, and baskets multiple times per shift
- Mobility required throughout entire shift
- Ability to transport glass racks and cases weighing up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for up to four hours
- Good sense of balance
- Ability to bend and kneel
- Ability to lift and bus pans and trays frequently weighing 25 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as restaurant server or similar front-of-house role preferred but not required
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Basic knowledge of point-of-sale systems is beneficial
Job Duties
- Deliver food and drinks to guests using Applebee's team delivery system
- Greet guests, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service
- Interact verbally with all guests to create a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- Relay orders to service bar and kitchen via point-of-sale system
- Observe guests and respond to additional requests
- Present guest check and handle payment procedures
- Participate in clearing and resetting dining room tables
