Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in restaurant or food service industry
  • Knowledge of POS systems particularly Toast POS
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and billing
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or food service experience highly preferred especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS
  • Demonstrated ability in customer service guest relations and food industry standards
  • Experience with food safety protocols sanitation practices and proper food handling techniques
  • Proven skills in time management multitasking during busy hours and maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
  • Familiarity with serving roles such as host or hostess or bussing enhances ability to deliver seamless guest experiences
  • Basic math skills for cash handling billing accuracy and sales upselling techniques

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive friendly service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
  • Assist with food preparation bussing tables and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
  • Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for bills and payments
  • Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently and optimize seating arrangements
