Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in restaurant or food service industry
Knowledge of POS systems particularly Toast POS
Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic math skills for handling cash and billing
Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

Previous restaurant or food service experience highly preferred especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS
Demonstrated ability in customer service guest relations and food industry standards
Experience with food safety protocols sanitation practices and proper food handling techniques
Proven skills in time management multitasking during busy hours and maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
Familiarity with serving roles such as host or hostess or bussing enhances ability to deliver seamless guest experiences
Basic math skills for cash handling billing accuracy and sales upselling techniques

Job Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive friendly service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Assist with food preparation bussing tables and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for bills and payments
Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently and optimize seating arrangements
