Job Duties
- Greet all customers, apply suggestive selling techniques, record orders, ensure prompt placement of orders, follow up to ensure guest satisfaction, remove unneeded dishes and utensils
- prepare appetizers, desserts and beverages for customers
- greet and seat customers in the order in which they arrive and introduce feature of the day
- collect payment from customers in accordance with established cash handling procedures
- clear remaining items from tables, clean and preset tables
- perform cleaning and stocking duties as assigned
- periodically assist other service personnel
- resolve guest complaints and notify management of any complaints received
