Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous serving experience preferred
  • availability for morning shifts and most weekends
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • reliable and punctual
  • willingness to participate in training sessions

Job Qualifications

  • experience in food and beverage service
  • strong knowledge of hospitality culture and food trends
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask and make decisions under pressure
  • proficiency in menu knowledge including allergies and dietary restrictions
  • ability to work weekends and early shifts
  • teamwork and collaboration skills without ego

Job Duties

  • create memorable guest experiences beyond taking orders
  • deliver food and drinks timely and in a friendly manner
  • maintain in depth menu knowledge to accommodate allergies and restrictions
  • participate in ongoing beverage tasting and training
  • arrive changed, polished and mentally ready for work
  • develop trusting and transparent relationships with peers and other hotel associates
